The ShowerPro Rain is a premium option that fits directly onto the shower pipe (overhead); it features a 5-stage filtration system that includes Swedish Mineral Rock (SMR) for enhanced water softening and has a larger 20,000-liter capacity.
Will the shower filter reduce the water pressure?
Our shower filters are designed to maintain a high flow rate so you can enjoy a powerful shower experience. While the filtration media provides a slight resistance to ensure effective contaminant removal, most users do not notice a significant change in water pressure.
How often should I replace the filter cartridge?
To ensure maximum filtration efficiency, we recommend changing the cartridge for both the ShowerPro Diamond and ShowerPro Rain every 6 months. This ensures that the filtration media remains effective at neutralizing chlorine and preventing limescale build-up.
Is it easy to install the filter myself?
Yes! All Tappwater shower filters are designed for easy DIY installation that takes just a few minutes. You don’t need any special tools or professional plumbing help. They are designed to fit standard shower hoses (Diamond) or shower pipes (Rain) used in Maltese homes.
Does the filter help with sensitive skin or eczema?
