Social Impact Report for TAPP Water Malta

We gave an annual TAPP 2 TWIST starter pack to Fondazzjoni St. Jeanne Antida for Sabina.

We gave a second annual TAPP EcoPro starter pack for a family of 7 to Fondazzjoni St. Jeanne Antida in order to alleviate their stress caused by debt. The annual starter pack helps the family save money.

We gave a further 9 TAPP EcoPro Annual Starter packs to Fondazzjoni Sebh so now in total we support 13 apartments in a shelter for the survivors of domestic violence at Dar Il-Miljh. These are annual support packages with our commitment to supply refill cartridges every year in order that we can build on the support offered.

We supported the newly formed HPF Ranger Unit in Malta with a monthly contribution to their funding.

We sponsored the annual Climathon in Malta which this year worked on a solution to the waste problem caused by packaging take out food.

Through the Antide Foundation We supported a mother of 2, 10 month old baby girl and an 8 year old girl, who was facing great financial difficulties with a TAPP EcoPro Annual pack to ease the burden of purchasing water and carrying them up 3 flight of stairs.

We supplied 13 TAPP EcoPro Annual Refill packs to Fondazzjoni Sebh as part of our commitment to support 13 apartments in a shelter for the survivors of domestic violence at Dar Il-Miljh. These are annual support packages with our commitment to supply refill cartridges every year in order that we can build on the support offered.

We supplied a new EcoPro Annual Pack for Dar San Nikola a Children's Home within Fondazzjoni Sebh.

We supplied 2 TAPP EcoPro Annual packs to Rise Foundation for the offices and staff and also for one accommodation unit. We were pleased to be introduced to Rise by theHSBC Foundation in Malta and we plan to support Rise in an annual initiative.

We donated to the HPF fund raiser for a sponsored walk in October 2022 for €25

We donated to Kitty Guardians for the rehabilitation of Floppy in December 2022 for €100

In January 2023 we supplied a TAPP EcoPro with 4 extra filters for the Prevention Community Service  in Marsa run by Fondazzjoni Sebh whom we have been supporting since our launch in 2020. We currently support 13 apartments housing survivors of domestic violence.at il-milja and Dar San Nikola children's home

In February 2023 we supplied a TAPP EcoPro with 4 extra filters for the Richmond Foundation at a Hostel in Paola for 11 males. We plan on this being an annual support with refills for the EcoPro supplied every year. Click here to read more information on Assisted Living that provides long-term, shared accommodation with 24-hour support to people with mental health problems who previously resided at the psychiatric hospital. 

In February 2023 we supplied 3 TAPP EcoPro with 4 extra filters to 3 families identified by the Women For Women Foundation to be in need of support. We plan to support more families as requested on occasion by the foundation.

In March 2023 we supported the volunteer organisation Lets Help at Pasta Buffet in aid of Down Syndrome Association Malta with a raffle prize with a (TAPP EcoPro 1+4 Starter pack) .

In March 2023 we supported St Jeanne Antide Foudation at Joy Gospel Singers at the Sacred Heart Auditorium with a raffle prize. (TAPP EcoPro 1+4 Starter pack)

In March 2023 we supported Richmond Foundation in a second hostel in Mosta for 10 males with a TAPP EcoPro with 4 extra filters.

In April 2023 we supported the volunteer organisation Lets Help at Buffet Fundraising Event in aid of Women for Women Foundation - Malta with a raffle prize with a (TAPP EcoPro 1+4 Starter pack) .

In May 2023 we supported the volunteer organisation Lets Help at Bbq in aid of id-Dar tal-Providenza  with a raffle prize with a (TAPP EcoPro 1+4 Starter pack)

In June 2023 we supported Rota.MT with 2 BottlePro Water Filter Bottles for two bike rides to celebrate World Bicycle Day on June 3rd in Malta and June 4th in Gozo.

In July 2023 we supported Warriors Heart Academy and OSMTJ (Malta)  with an EcoPro Staretr pack with 4 filters for a charity shooting event to be held on the 21^st September, 2023 at the Victoria Shooting Range in Zebbug, Malta. The event will give the opportunity both to first time shooters and experienced ones alike the opportunity to come together for a good cause.

The proceeds for this event will be going towards the Karl Vella Foundation who is an NGO which provides psychotherapeutic support to families dealing with illness or loss. KVF offers two main services: The Wellness Pod and Because You Matter. The Wellness Pod offers therapeutic group sessions and one-to-one therapy to children from families where a loved one is ill or has passed away. Because You Matter provides emotional and psychological support to patients, and their families, needing treatment abroad.

In November we supported the Friends Of The Earth in Malta with a quiz prize of an EcoPro Compact with 6 extra filters worth 99 euros at the screening of the film "The Story of Plastic"

In December we supported Mtarfa Youth Nursery with a TAPP EcoPro water Filter Annual Starter Pack worth 119 as first prize in the raffle held at their Annual Dinner. We hope his is a start of more future collaborations.

In December we also supported HUH-Help Us Help with a TAPP EcoPro Compact Water Filter with 6 extra filters worth 114 for their fundraising lunch for the Sunshine Animal Sanctuary

We started the year by continuing our support for 13 residential units at Il-Milja and the Marsa Community Prevention Office.

In February we supplied an EcoPro + 4 extra filters for the organisation LOVE who inspired us with their Christmas Lunch prepared for people who would have been on their own at Christmas. You can follow their activities on Facebook

In April we supplied an EcoPro + 4 extra filters to the Stella Maris Scout Group for their annual camp at Verdala Palace. In doing so over 500 plastic bottles were saved which was an awesome result, it is very inspiring to see that changes can be made to our consumption patterns that result in less single use plastic waste in groups like this. We hope to support more groups in the future!

In April we supplied the Thrive NGO two EcoPro filters to use during the first Thrive Festival where over 100 people will be camping and the water filters will ensure a reduction in the use of plastic bottles. Single use plastic is widespread at most events and its a wonderful opportunity for Thrive to showcase how changes in consumption can really make a difference.

In May we supplied Melita Ltd an EcoPro + 4 filters to use as a raffle prize for their fund raising event on July 3rd for The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Malta – VO/43 which raised €2500

In June we answered a call by YMCA Malta for donations of water fitting an EcoPro with 4 extra filters to a kitchen mixer in the Hamrun Centre so that customers could refill their bottles with fresh drinking water.

In July we donated an EcoPro water filter to Pembroke Scout Group for their summer camp and held an informative discussion with an engaged group of scouts all about water and plastic bottles.

In July we donated an EcoPro + 4 filters to a family in crisis supported by the local parish church in Marsaskala. Its an honour to have these requests and a pleasure to know we can help.
