Phil Richards

Phil Richards has lived in Malta since 2009 after arriving on the island originally to work in financial services.

With a passion for sustainable living, yoga and meditation Phil started Tappwater in Malta after purchasing an EcoPro water filter himself and believing that Malta needed a simple and effective solution to encourage drinking tap water and eliminate the use of plastic bottles for drinking water.

Tappwater Malta launched on 8th June 2020 and so is a CoVid era online ecommerce store with over 20 retail stores in Malta now offering Tappwater products.

Phil now lives in Gozo and operates Tappwater Malta full time enjoying creating social media content that informs, encourages and inspires more consumers to turn away from plastic bottles and embrace a more sustainable life.
