What is the difference between ShowerPro Rain and ShowerPro Diamond?
The main difference between ShowerPro Rain and ShowerPro Diamond is that ShowerPro Rain includes both a showerhead and a filter, providing an all-in-one solution for improving water quality, whereas ShowerPro Diamond is just the filter, designed for use with an existing showerhead.
How do I know its working?
Chlorine in shower water often dries out skin and hair. For people with sensitive skin, it can also cause rashes. The filter removes most of the chlorine, so skin and hair will soften over time.In addition, the filter will reduce limescale formation on tiles and glass surfaces. Typically, you will notice this within a few weeks.ShowerPro Diamond will make your shower water clean, clear and free of unwanted substances.
Why do I have to change the refill every 6 months?
The capacity of the ShowerPro Diamond is about 8,000-12,000 liters (depending on water quality). After this time, the filter material is exhausted and can no longer absorb chlorine and other substances.
In addition, the replacements are made of materials of organic origin which, after a prolonged period of use, can lead to the proliferation of bacteria. These bacteria accumulate behind the filter and can contaminate the water. This is a normal situation with any refill made of organic substances, regardless of the number of people in the household or whether the filter has not been used for some time.
Please note that the estimated time of duration may also vary depending on the number of users in the household.
Does the ShowerPro Diamond need to be cleaned?
Cleaning your filter is not strictly necessary. If you would like to clean it or need to due to scale build-up around the product, you can use water and vinegar. Please note that the refill is not washable, so you will need to remove it before cleaning the outside of your filter.
Do Tappwater filters reduce the water flow?
If you have a normal water pressure you will not notice a reduction in flow as Tappwater filters deliver drinking water at 4L per minute which is very fast for a filter.
Is there a grant for shower filters in Malta?
No.
