TAPP 1UF is the old name for TAPP Ultrafiltration which is independently certified to remove over 100 contaminants including 99.9% reduction for bacteria such as Clostridium, eColi, Enterococcus, and Microbial cysts.

In Malta the TAPP Ultrafiltration is for use with water from wells, tanks and bowsers.

Due to the EcoPro being more effective at removing limescale, the Ultrafiltration is not recommended for use with normal public supply drinking water in Malta.
