Sometimes things go wrong. Most of the time we will already know about an issue and be able to solve it for you.

So in this article you can see the more common issues and what they look like.

Always contact us about issues - and send a photo or video of the problem so we know how to assist you.

Old style EcoPro casing sometimes difficult to open.

If the bottom of your casing looks like this, and you cannot open it, just send a picture to us directly and we can replace with a new casing. The design of the casing was changed after customers found issues with this old design. It also opens/closes the opposite way to the new casings, and the direction had been confusing for some people.

Valve Cracks

Up until October 2023 we found some defects in the plastic compound of the Valve of EcoPro, EcoPro Compact and EcoPro Compact Chrome.

After the defect was identified, the Manufacturers changed the plastic compound for a far stronger formula, and we have since then experienced very few defects reported.

If this defect happens to your TAPP Water Filter just let us know and we replace your Valve with one of the new material.

Switch Rips

On occasions there is a defect in the switch which breaks, this is primarily caused by the older plastic compound and we do not experience this defect in the newer plastic compound.

After the defect was identified, the Manufacturers changed the plastic compound for a far stronger formula, and we have since then experienced vry few defects reported.

If this defect happens to your TAPP Water Filter just let us know and we replace your Valve with one of the new material.

Valve Leaks

Housing Leaks

Up until October 2023 we found some defects in the plastic compound of the Valve of EcoPro, EcoPro Compact and EcoPro Compact Chrome which meant they sprung a leak between the valve and the housing.

After the defect was identified, the Manufacturers changed the plastic compound for a far stronger formula, and we have since then experienced very few defects reported.

If this defect happens to your TAPP Water Filter just let us know and we replace your Housing with one of the new material.
