Why do we use plastic bottles for drinking water in Malta

How come we use so much plastic and plastic bottles for drinking water in Malta?

We discuss why we started to use bottled water in plastic bottles and what impact that has on our environment. Plastic bottles were promoted as a convenience and it is difficult for us to change away from using it. Plastic bottles come from Oil and the oil companies want to increase the use of plastic so they sell more oil and the use of plastic is increasing.
