Advanced 5 stage filtration

EcoPro uses an ultra-advanced 5-stage Nanofiltration technology with activated carbon in the replacement filters.

The activated carbon block, made from coconut shell, is capable of absorbing chemical, gas, metal, and organic elements thanks to its microscopic structure and highly porous surface.

When tap water passes through the filter, contaminants are trapped in the spherical particles of activated carbon, such as lime, chlorine (responsible for bad taste), microplastics, sand, rust and sediments, lead, mercury, salmonella, legionella, pesticides, herbicides, drug residues, nitrates and over 100 substances.

The result is clean and filtered water, ready for consumption.

Long lasting filter refill

Water quality and filtering efficiency can only be guaranteed up to a capacity of use equivalent to 3 months. If you use the refill beyond 3 months, the filtering efficiency of substances will no longer meet our quality parameters.
You should also bear in mind that activated carbon is a material of organic origin that can be a breeding ground for micro-organisms, which over time can lead to the proliferation of bacteria.

The old refill must be disposed of in the black bag because apart from being made of coconut shells (70%), it is also made up of other materials such as UHMW (30%) and silicone parts.

Frequently asked questions

The Annual Pack contains four filters, providing a full 12 months of clean water, whereas the Twin Pack covers 6 months. By choosing the Annual Pack, you benefit from a lower cost per filter and ensure you always have a replacement ready, avoiding any gaps in your access to purified water while reducing the frequency of deliveries.

The EcoPro refill uses an advanced 5-stage Nanofiltration system with a high-porosity activated carbon block made from coconut shells. This structure traps over 100 contaminants including chlorine, microplastics, lead, mercury, and organic compounds like pesticides, while specifically reducing limescale buildup in your kettle and appliances.

Filtering efficiency is guaranteed up to 3 months of regular use. Beyond this period, the activated carbon becomes saturated and can no longer effectively trap contaminants. Additionally, since the carbon is organic, it can become a breeding ground for bacteria over time, so regular replacement is essential for maintaining water hygiene and safety.

You should only use hot water when the lever is in the "unfiltered" position. Passing hot water through the filter cartridge can damage the activated carbon block and compromise its ability to filter effectively. Always switch to the filtered position only when using cold water for drinking or cooking.

If the filter has been sitting idle for several days, we recommend letting the filtered water run for about 30 seconds before drinking. This flushes out any stagnant water and ensures that the water you consume is fresh and has passed through the activated carbon properly.

The refills are made primarily of organic materials (70% coconut shells), but they also contain UHMW and silicone components. Therefore, they should be disposed of in the "black bag" (general waste). Despite this, using one filter still replaces hundreds of single-use plastic bottles, significantly reducing your overall environmental footprint.
