Why does my water taste different or not so good after changing the EcoPro filter refill?

It's not typical for the water taste to worsen after changing an EcoPro filter refill. This could be due to a few reasons, such as air trapped in the new cartridge, the cartridge not being properly installed, or, in rare cases, an issue with the new refill itself.

What should I do first if the water tastes bad after a refill change?

The first thing you should do is run the filtered water for a few minutes. This will help to flush out any trapped air or loose particles from the new cartridge. Taste the water again after a couple of minutes of flushing.

Could there be air trapped in the new filter cartridge?

Yes, it's common for new filter cartridges to contain some trapped air. This air can sometimes affect the initial taste of the filtered water. Running the water through the filter for a short period usually resolves this issue.

How do I ensure the new refill is installed correctly?

Double-check that the new refill cartridge is correctly seated within the EcoPro housing according to the instructions in your product manual or the video guide. Ensure there are no gaps and that all parts are properly aligned and securely closed.

Is it possible that the new refill cartridge is faulty?
