The Islands Clean Up project is an initiative developed by Ministry for the Environment along with Project Green and Saving Our Blue to build on the success of last years campaigns which collected 2,500KG of waste in our countryside.
The idea behind the project is to raise awareness of how we need to protect the valleys, coastal areas and the sea and how businesses can get involved in supporting clean ups of areas of environmental importance in Malta.
As a business we are just two persons, so we need the support of #TAPPHeroes in Malta in order to put a team together for a clean up.
We thought it would be lovely to see what a group of #TAPPHeroes could do together and Project Green make this easier for us all by providing gloves, pickers, rubbish bags and co-ordinate the collection of the collected trash.
We have been allocated an area in Speranza valley and we meet at San Pawl tal-Qlejgha Chapel and the date is set at 2nd September from 7.30am to 11am.
The Valley forms part of a project to open up the area to hikers and harvest the rainfall in the valley so its an area of significance for water use, something close to our hearts.

To sweeten your participation - one registrant, who attends on the day, will win 2 years of filters for their choice of product. Or a Starter Pack with a year of filters if not already a TAPP Water Customer.
